Educación superior con perspectiva de género

Abstract

This study examines the integration of gender perspective in higher education. The first part develops keyconceptual foundations related to gender and education, with the aim of assessing progress made by higher education institutions in this arena. We used interviews with a randomly selected group of students at thetarget educational level. The findings reveal modest yet significant progress in the incorpora-tion of a gender perspective within the university context. The study concludes that it is necessary strengthen institutional indicators through tools and strategies that help reduce the gender inequality gap in higher education, with ultimately goal of fostering equiality and era-dicating gender-based violence, recognizing the genderperspective as a desicive factor in transforming society.
