Abstract
Environmental Reviews publishes authoritative scientific literature reviews that are critical syntheses of environmental issues of international interest. Reviews are evidence-informed and grounded in real-world applications, including implications for policy, management, and practice. The journal focuses on the effects of anthropogenic stressors on the state and responses of organisms, populations, communities, and natural and artificial ecosystems. In publication since 1993, the journal welcomes review articles on key topics of environmental science including, but not limited to: climate change, pollution (aquatic, terrestrial, or atmospheric) and biomagnification, conservation of biodiversity and ecosystem services, sustainability, restoration of aquatic and terrestrial habitats, biological control and agroecosystems, land use and disturbance, invasive species, bio-indicators of environmental stress, and the development, use, and management of natural resources (e.g., fisheries, forestry, oil and gas, groundwater).
